“What a complicated story!!!! What a glorious day of entertainment it gave me. I am so happy that I had a good block of time so that I could devour every last amazing page.” - Trudy Dowling

“Wow! This one will set hearts on fire and tear down the walls so carefully obtained by thinking you are unlovable!” - Sheridan

“Wow! Another great book from Kelly Gendron. I've thoroughly enjoyed every book I've read from her.” - Denise Whited

“Babe.” His dark eyes sway to my mouth, and during the brief pause of silence, my hormones dare my fingers to reach out and touch him. “We passed professional a few minutes ago when I heard about your secret pole dancing stunt, not to mention, seeing your intimate apparel. I’m sorry.” He shakes his head with a low tsk-tsk. “There’s just no going back from that, Jaylyn.”
“You must try.” I clutch the gown to my chest, loathing the way my name sounds spoken in his low, raspy distinctive voice … loathing the way I want to hear him whisper it in my ear while he’s …
“Not gonna happen.” He taps my thigh as though it’s been settled. “Now, you need a ride home, and I’m here, willing, and able.”
“I don’t want a ride home from you!” I don’t want anything from him, nor do I want to be alone with him. I don’t want him at my apartment, the very place where I need to go to put some clothes on. I need clothes. I need my yoga pants and a tee shirt—a stained, already worked out in, smelly, offensive tee shirt. The getup I have on, the way Steele Kane’s looking at me … God, I haven’t felt this sexy since …
“No, maybe not, but the way I see it, what you want really doesn’t matter right now, does it? Or would you rather stay here for the night?” His head tilts back, and a wolfish grin strikes his mouth as though he already knows the answer. “Don’t worry, I won’t hold this naughty little stunt against you. I like to play dirty, but I’d never resort to blackmail, extortion, or using force. At least, not the unwanted kind to get what I want.” He winks.
“And what exactly do you want?” I sit up straight, ignoring the sexy little twitch of his left eye.
“Only to get you safely home.”
I glare at him, tightening the gown around me. “And that’s it?”
“Yes, Miss Rigsby, that is it.”

Where can you find USA Today Bestselling Author, Kelly Gendron writing her steamy, blush producing romances? Usually, she’s tucked away in a quiet suburb somewhere in the upper EST area. But, when she’s not creating HEA stories, you can find her representing a reputable group of nursing facilities in the WNY area. If you Google her, she’ll pop up there too. And, please, google her. Kelly loves to hear from her readers and to meet new people!

Kelly's Motto ~ "Bad boys, give 'em a little time and experience and they will evolve into misbehaving men!"

Sonja's Review

I was looking forward to reading Steele and it intrigued me from the very beginning. I keep expecting for the books in Daring the Kane Brothers series to have that same type of suspense as Breaking the Declan Brothers and it keeps surprising me when there isn’t. Steele and Token have been great without that aspect though, they’ve just been a different side of Kelly Gendron for me. And I really liked Steele, it tugged on my heartstrings a little and was a nice little addition to the series.

I liked Steele more than Token and it was easy for me connect to the story. It was an enjoyable read with tension, banter, and challenges. I loved Steele and Jaylyn and I’m glad they were able to come together. Steele put a smile on my face all throughout the book and especially at the end. You can bet that I’ll definitely be on the lookout for the next brother’s book!

Sonja's Review

I just finished Nixon and I feel like I could curl up and fall asleep because  that ending was just so sweet and made me feel all warm and fuzzy and toasty inside. It was even more than I was hoping for and I was hoping for a lot. I’ve been obsessed and so impatient to read Nixon’s book because he’s my favorite out of Eric’s sons and Ms. Dukey so did not disappoint me. Nixon was wonderful and I adored it!

If you’ve read the Four Fathers series (if you haven’t, you should before you read the Four Sons because spoilers just can’t be avoided), then it shouldn’t be too hard to guess who Nixon’s heroine is, but just in case you don’t know, I won’t mention her name. I’ll just say that I love her even more now, she’s such a lovely, sweet person. Let’s be honest though, I was all about Nixon, but I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else for him but her.

Enough about her, let’s talk about Nixon. Oh, that boy/man completely owns my heart. He’s so sweet and protective of his heroine. He would do absolutely anything and everything for her. Nixon is smart and calculating, but you can see how much he loves his lady and Camden. He’s beyond swoon worthy and I just love him to pieces and I can’t imagine him ever not being my favorite Son!

Now, what to say about the book that I haven’t already said? As soon as I was able to, I started Nixon and I pretty much didn’t stop reading it until I finished. It was exciting and I didn’t want to pull myself away until it was over. Nixon was sweet, enlightening, and a real page turner. It was beautiful, heart melting and I wholeheartedly loved it!

Nixon is the first book in the Four Sons series and should be read after the Four Fathers series. It’s told from Nixon and his heroine’s POV and they do get their happily-ever-after.

Meet Author Ker Dukey
I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script. I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.

RELEASE BLITZ REVIEW: The Price of Brimstone by Allie Gail

Title: The Price of Brimstone
Author: Allie Gail
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: July 18, 2018

There's a monster in my basement.

That isn't a metaphor, in case you were wondering. And it isn't the tagline to some midnight horror flick. Fact is, Locryn Price is nothing if not a monster. One part human, the other part demon, the guy's got a slab of ice where his heart should be.

Ironic, considering the rest of him is hot enough to start a fire underwater.

Not exactly what I was expecting to find when I came home from college to surprise my brother. I mean, I always knew Russell was a little warped, but now we have a pissed-off, wisecracking demon in shackles and chains as proof.

The October winds are stirring, bringing more than just storms. Two of our friends are missing. Loc knows something, but he isn't talking. And to complicate matters further, my former crush Max has joined forces with my brother. They think they'll get answers using spells and pentacles and brute torture.

But the devil prefers to bargain.

My innocence in exchange for the hostages. Those are his terms.

Now I'm in his world. A world of demons, deception and the sweetest of seductions.

And losing my way in the darkness never felt so good.

His eyes, wicked as the devil's soul, shimmer like jewels as he watches me with a fixed stare. “What sort of person are you, Judith? Do you embrace your nightmares? Or do you run from them?”
In the midst of the whirling snow, the carousel picks up speed. I was right – the tune is changing, growing wilder, more discordant. If I thought the music was unsettling before, it's downright terrifying now.
“What are you doing?” I look around in alarm. The Tilt-A-Whirl is zipping past twice as fast as before. The icy wind whips my hair, stinging my cheeks. Beside me on the platform, Loc gazes at me impassively as if nothing at all is wrong.
Slowly, dreading what I'm about to see, I turn my head to look down at the stallion between my legs.
One of its round crimson eyes rolls back and settles on me with a demonic glare.
“Loc...” I am frozen in terror, afraid to look away. Afraid to move. Afraid that one of these fiendish beasts will sink its teeth into me, or worse. The shrill calliope music clashes in my ears, and the carousel continues its runaway orbit.
“Yes, Jude?” His voice is maddeningly calm.
“Make it stop. Please make it stop.”
“I don't think so. Not just yet.”
“Dammit, Loc, I'm not fucking kidding...”
Reaching around me, he grabs the pole and swings one leg over the horse, pressing his body flush against mine. The stallion shakes its painted mane and I close my eyes to shut out the sight of those devil eyes.
“I don't like this,” I announce through clenched teeth. “I seriously don't like this.”
“Sh-h,” Loc breathes in my ear. The feel of his warm, hard body so close to mine does crazy things to my hormones. “It's only a nightmare if you believe it is. Don't be afraid of what you don't understand. Open your eyes. See the world the way I see it. Get to know that part of me a little better. Take it in, baby. Take it all in.”
Unable to resist his soft coaxing, I do as he requests, shooting a fearful glance at the animated steed on my left. It makes a vicious braying noise and lashes out at the air with its front hooves.
“They're beautiful, aren't they?” he murmurs.
“I don't know. They're...” I'm at a loss for words here. Beautiful? I'm not sure that's how I would choose to describe the demon horses. I suppose they are, in an aesthetic sense, but like the dissonant music they seem so...evil.
So unnatural.
So dark.
So...
Like him.
He slides one hand around my waist, the other moving up so he can trail his fingers down my neck. The stallion flies in its neverending circle, yo-yoing up and down with us on its back, a blur of snowflakes shrouding the landscape in white as the jarring melody thrums in my veins.
“I can feel your pulse racing,” he whispers. “It feels good, doesn't it? The adrenaline. The excitement.”
I turn my head a bit so he can hear me over the spectral music. “You feel good.”
He brushes his lips lightly against my cheek, his breath warming me as he chuckles softly. “Mm, sweetheart. You have no idea just how good I can feel.”
Maybe not, but I'd very much like to find out.
Impulsively, I let go of the brass pole and stretch out a hand to tentatively stroke the stallion's painted black muzzle. It doesn't seem to object, though the vacant eyes roll back once again to give me another indecipherable look.
Behind me, Loc purrs his approval. “There. Now was that so hard?”
Steadying myself with both hands on his thighs, I relax against his chest. My fears begin to recede. All I can think about right now is the hard body cradled against mine, and how intoxicating it feels to be this close to him.
“Sure you don't want a tour of the funhouse?” he teases.
“Not on your life.” I don't even want to think about the hellish horrors he might dredge up in there. Haunted carousels are bad enough. The last thing I want is to see the reflection of a demonic clown in one of those funhouse mirrors.
His hands roam beneath my hoodie to cup my breasts, and I arch my back with a whimper as he slides his fingers inside my bra. All he does is brush them across my nipples, but the light touch has them instantly stiffening into hard peaks. “Loc...”
His voice is a husky whisper. “What is it, precious?”
“Let's get out of here. Please.”
“You know what's going to happen when I get you home, don't you?” He squeezes my breasts, and I squirm against him. I want his hands all over me. His touch does things to me that are pure magic. Black magic, surely, but at this point I'm beyond caring.
“Yes. You're going to...” I trail off, suddenly uncertain. By now I should know better than to second-guess his intentions. What if I'm wrong?
“I'm going to fuck you,” he clarifies firmly. “Very hard and very deep. And just when you think you can't take any more, I'm going to fuck you again. And again. And again. Are you starting to see a pattern emerging here, love?”
Unable to speak, I merely bite my lip. Oh, God...
“All I'm asking from you is one word,” he continues. “Because I'm giving you something I've never given anyone before. A choice. I'm offering you an out. I'm willing to release you from your debt if that's what you want. I'll still hold up my end of the bargain, no strings attached. All you have to do is tell me no, and I'll send you back to Kansas and you will never hear from me again. But if you say yes, then know that I will not be holding back. Your body will be mine, to use for my own pleasure, and I won't let you deny me anything.”
Stunned, I turn my head to gaze at him in astonishment. Is he serious? After everything that happened, after everything my brother did to him, he's willing to just forget it and let me off scot free? With no repercussions whatsoever? He's a demon. Demons make deals. They don't let people back out of them. They don't possess the compassion for something like that.
But maybe...half-human demons do.
Brushing his lips across mine in a feather-soft kiss, he asks, “So what's it going to be, Jude?”
My heart hammers against my chest. The sad part is, I don't even have to think about it. I know what I should do. I know the logical thing to do. The smart thing.
Unfortunately, what I should do and what I want to do are two very different things.
One day, I know I will look back on my naïveté and realize how foolish I was for following him so blindly.
Today is not the day.
Yes,” I whisper.
The lights on the carousel flicker and go dark.
The platform slows its relentless turn.
Suspended from their poles, the horses cease their thrashing and gaze lifelessly into the night, inanimate playthings once more.

And the music, having reached its crescendo, ends in a rolling clap of thunder that resonates through the air before tapering off into silence.

Sonja's Review

When I found The Price of Brimstone,  I was so drawn in by the synopsis that I just really wanted to read this book. Ms. Gail is a new-to-me author, although I did read her Winter’s Touch while waiting until I was able to start this one and it made me look forward to The Price of Brimstone even more. And I was not disappointed when I finally dove in. It was excellent and I can’t wait to read more of Ms. Gail.

I don’t really want to give too much away, so I’m not going to talk about the characters much, just the book. The Price of Brimstone caught my attention from the very beginning and kept me engaged the whole way through. It made me think, made me feel somewhat conflicted and pulled me in all sorts of different directions. I didn’t think of that as a bad thing though, I did enjoy reading this book. It had its funny instances, it’s dark, heart aching ones, sexy times, and sweet, heart melty moments. It didn’t hold a lot of mystery for me and I pretty much knew what ending we were going to get and I was good with that, even if I was a bit bummed out at the end. The Price of Brimstone was really great — and Ms. Gail, I definitely DO want more of Locryn Price, so please write more about this heart stealer because I will be waiting!
