RELEASE DAY BLITZ: Teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson

It's Live!! Teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson
18+, Not suitable for persons under the age of 18. STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT, MATURE CONTENT, and STRONG LANGUAGE.

Exclusive Excerpt:
The fire I’d been trying to contain exploded. I pushed her against the wall and as her books fell to the ground, I slammed my mouth to hers. It was rough, demanding, all-consuming and when I got a taste of her again, I knew I couldn’t stop this time. She had no idea what she did to me, and I was about to show her. I pinned her hands above her head as we continued this angry kiss. A kiss that made my cock rock hard and begging for release. When she moaned I broke the kiss and searched her eyes. “Nothing happened with me and Brandi this weekend. Nothing could happen because I don’t want replacement pussy, I want yours.” She gasped, and I pressed my lips to hers again. Still holding her hands above her head with one hand, I trailed the other down her body until I reached the bottom of her skirt. I pushed my hand under and rubbed small circles on her thigh. She thrashed beneath me, which turned me on even more. Slowly moving my hand, I cupped her pussy over her panties and she let out a yell that I kept quiet with my mouth. I rubbed her softly, feeling the heat and wetness through her panties. Feeling my way to the top of them, I reached my hand inside and was met with the softest, smoothest, wettest pussy I’d ever felt. I broke the kiss once again and nipped her bottom lip. “Fuck, your pussy is dripping with need. The idea that I made you this wet is so fucking hot.” “Oh, Levi, please,” she begged and not one to disappoint I slammed a finger into her incredibly tight pussy. “Fuck!” “If you can’t be quiet, I will stop. Do not draw attention to this room,” I demanded, and like a good girl she listened. I worked my finger in and out of her as I buried my face into her neck. “Are you a virgin? You’re so fucking tight?” “No,” she moaned out, and I knew I needed to give her the release her body needed so badly. I added another finger and watched her beautiful face as she bit her lip to stay quiet. As I finger fucked her, I couldn’t help but look at the way her face flushed and her tits bounced. I was about to bust a nut from this alone, and I knew in the moment that I couldn’t just let her go. Picking up my pace, listening to her soft moans, I reached my thumb up and rubbed her clit. Like a tsunami wave, her orgasm crashed over her hard and fast. I slammed my mouth to her to be sure she kept quiet while she rode this wave. When I felt her body begin to shake, I pulled back, with my fingers still inside of her and searched her face. “This is how I feel about you. Understood?”

Sonja's Review

I love me a forbidden romance, so when I saw Teacher, it didn't take much to convince me to read it! It was hot and dirty - just like I like my taboo romances to be. It was fantastic and I enjoyed reading it!

I really loved Trish! She's confident and bold, sweet and a little insecure, and she's strong and she only continues to grow stronger throughout the book. I enjoyed watching that happen - Trish is simply wonderful and I wouldn't have her any other way - flaws, strengths, and all!

In most ways Levi was what I consider to be my perfect hero, but sometimes that man just made me want to smack him or jab him when he was being a jerk. That's my only complaint though, I love everything else about him! I love how alpha, dominant, and possessive Levi is and I love his softer, sweet, protective side too. He's a great hero and I'm sure he'll have you melting for him!

Teacher is a fast and sexy, HOT read that will more than give you your fill of naughty forbidden-ness, but it will also satisfy your need to see love, affection, and connection. Teacher might be an easy, not overly complicated read, but it still tugged on my heartstrings and it still sucked me in and got my emotions involved. It was an excellent book and I really loved it!

Teacher is a standalone told from Levi and Trish's POV and they do get their happily-ever-after.

Lia's Review

Holy crap! This book was not what I was expecting, yet it was so much more than I was expecting. An Unforgivable Love Story is just one of those books that begs to be experienced. Yes, it is full of hard limits for most romance readers, I promise you, if you can push those aside you're in for a pretty spectacular read.

The unpredictability of these characters and the way the story flowed kept me entranced. I went through this book a lot faster than I was anticipating. It's just one of those stories that you can't wait to get to the end and figure everything out. Once those pieces fall into place, it's just crazy awesome.

B.L. Berry's newest release is unlike anything I've read lately. And like I said previously, if you can get through the tough subject matter, you'll be surprised at what a good story this is.

WHERE LIGHTNING STRIKES, a Bleeding Stars Stand-Alone Novel

Amazon | iBooks | Barnes & Noble | Kobo

Bright lights blinded from above and gleamed against the stark white floor. I hurtled down the narrow hall, desperate for escape.
With every pounding step, I felt the separation grow. A chasm rending and ripping until I felt myself splitting in two.
Gasping for breath, I stumbled out of the building and into the vacancy of the deep, deep night. Wind gusted, tumbling along the surface of the ground, a stir of agitation at my feet.
Above, the storm raged. Clouds dark and heavy and ominous.
Lightning struck. A crackle of energy shocked through the air. Wrapping me in coils of white-hot agony.
For a moment, I gave into it and let myself feel. I lifted my face to the tormented sky, hands gripping my hair as I screamed.
Screamed in anguish.
Screamed in regret.
Screamed loud enough I would never forget.
A crack of thunder opened the sky.
Rain poured.
My hands fisted at my sides, and I buried the memory of the way he’d felt in my arms, the memory of his face, in the deepest part of me, sealed it off and cemented my heart.
My spirit grasped and wove with the promise I had made him.
I will never fall in love again.
Not ever again.
Not after tonight.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: I, Porn Star by Zara Cox

I, Porn Star by Zara Cox

Date of Publication: March 14, 2016

Blurb

My name is Quinn Blackwood: By day, I'm a billionaire CEO. Rich. Entitled.

By night, I'm the exclusive porn star only known as Q.

Why? Because I love women. If I believed in an almighty being, I'd thank him for creating them. They're by far his most perfect creation… especially when I'm fucking one of them.

Oh, did I mention I'm an asshole? Fuck yeah. According to my shrink, I'm one twisted motherfucker. And that's just the way I like it. Until she walks into my life…

***

My name is Elyse Gilbert, nicknamed ‘Lucky' because according to my dad, I'm the unluckiest person alive, and I'll die the same way I came into the world: naked, screaming, and dirt poor.

Yeah, my life is a twisted, seething mess. But that life changed the day I met HIM.

He made me forget the cameras.

He made me forget I was doing this for the money.

He made me forget my shame.

He made me forget everything. I was consumed by him. Only him.

But now my past has caught up with me.

Sonja's Review

I'll admit it, the title is what interested me in I, Porn Star in the first place and then the synopsis was like icing on the cake. I immediately wanted to read it and I had this idea of how everything from what the cover would look like to what I expected the story to be like in my head and they both turned out to be wrong. I was expecting a hot, sexy, maybe a little teasing, playful cover and when I first saw it, I was surprised because it didn't fit with my image - it's sexy and sophisticated, but I loved it and while I was reading the book, I knew that it was the perfect fit. The cover wasn't the only thing that Ms. Cox surprised me with though, I was surprised by the whole story itself. It might be called I, Porn Star but it's about so much more than just having sex in front of a camera and getting paid for it. It was just so far beyond an amazing book and when I truly thought about what to rate it, I realized that five stars wouldn't do it justice and I knew that it deserved more, so I'm giving it six stars!

I liked Elly from the start - she's strong and brave and fierce and passionate. She's loyal, protective, and a fighter. I'm not quite sure what it is about Elly that makes me love her as much as I do, but if I had to, I would say that it's how selfless she is, but most of all it's her heart. Elly is beautiful inside and out, she's a wonderful heroine and I can't imagine you not loving her just as much as Quinn and I do!

And Quinn? I'm sure I was a goner from the start. He's a little broody and dark, he's commanding and in control, and he's possessive and dominant. Quinn is not your average hero - he's muffed up and you're not always going to like or agree with what he does and he's not the nicest guy all the time, but he can be so sweet sometimes and he completely stole my heart and owned it. I completely fell in love with him and I know you will too!

I, Porn Star is a darkly seductive, heart pounding, breathtaking read that will get your blood pumping, your mind racing, and fill you with anticipation. There's no denying how sexy and steamy it is, but there is so much depth and meaning to it too. It's heartbreaking and utterly heart wrenching at times and it made me want to cry and made my heart ache so much that I just wanted to reach through the book and hug someone, but it's also so beautiful and it made me laugh and smile and warmed my heart.

I, Porn Star was an exceptional read and without a doubt either one of the best or the best book that I have read all year! I wholeheartedly loved it and I will definitely re-read it. I can't wait to see what Ms. Cox writes about next, although I have a feeling that Quinn and Elly will always be my favorites, I know for sure that they will always have a special place in my heart!

I, Porn Star is the first book in the I series, it's told from Quinn and Elly's POV, and Quinn and Elly have a happily-ever-after ending that put a huge smile on my face and gave me the warm fuzzy feelings!

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Elastic Heart by Mary Catherine Gebhard

Title: Elastic Heart
Author: Mary Catherine Gebhard
Release Date: Feb 25, 2016
Find on Goodreads
What do you do when the man who raped you has the entire police force in his pocket? When you’re called a slut, a whore, and a liar? You get your own justice.
My name is Nami DeGrace, and six months ago I was a normal college student. I was volunteering on the campaign of a man I believed in, a man I thought to be good and noble. Then one night that man forced himself on me and everything changed.
The media reviled me. The police didn’t believe me. My friends abandoned me. I dropped out of college and only have one mission in life: make him pay. That is, until Nick Law came in to my life.
Indomitable, infuriating, and irresistible, Law is complicating things.

Law gripped the back of my neck and pulled me into him. It wasn’t a kiss—it was a merging. I didn’t just taste the power, I felt the cutting intensity throughout my body. I responded instantly, wrapping my arms around his neck and moaning into his mouth. Law stopped and undid my hands from his neck. I opened my eyes, confused.
“Can’t have you waking everyone up,” Law said, grinning. “Be good and you’ll be rewarded.” I wanted to rebel at that. I nearly slapped him across the face. Yet deep inside, his words made me glow. I dropped my arms to my sides and waited for instructions.
Law traced a finger from my cheek down to my collarbone and carefully brushed aside my cotton shirt. I shivered as my shoulder became exposed. Bending down, he placed a light kiss on the tip of my shoulder. I bit my lip to keep from whimpering.
“Good girl,” Law murmured against my skin. It took all my willpower not to grip Law by his powerful shoulders. I didn’t want him to stop, though, so that meant playing by his rules. I kept my hands next to my sides because that meant Law would continue kissing me.
Law placed a hand on my stomach and I gasped.
“Shh…” Using his other thumb, Law tugged my bottom lip. “You have a beautiful mouth, Dandelion. Don’t let it get us in trouble.” I was speechless, or at least I thought I was. My thoughts got jumbled up with his hands on my mouth and my stomach.
Then he did something amazing.
Something reckless.
He slid his hand from my stomach and beneath my jeans.

Mary Catherine Gebhard bites off more than she can chew and sometimes calls herself Eva Natsumi. She's lived in Salt Lake City, Utah her entire life, but occasionally goes on vacation from reality. Don't worry, she sends postcards.

Sonja's Review

I wanted to read Elastic Heart as soon as I saw that Ms. Gebhard wrote it and the synopsis made me want to read it even more! It's unique and weird at times, but not a bad weird, just weird weird. Despite all that, though, I'm glad I read it and it was completely worth it!

Law might have a first name, but to Nami and me, he'll always be Law. I pretty much liked him instantly - he was funny, amusing, and very determined. Law is sweet, patient, and understanding - he is just one of the good guys. He's not perfect, of course, he has his flaws and he can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, but I loved him anyway and I know you will too!

Nami is a little crazy, maybe even a lot crazy, but I can't blame her for the way she is and I really admire and respect her. She's been through so much and she's strong, rough, fierce, and she's a fighter. Nami is really just amazing - first because of her strength and most importantly because after all she's gone through - she still has a good heart and soul.

Elastic Heart isn't an easy or particularly enjoyable read and there were some times where I wondered what would be the point of reading it for other people if they weren't already fans of Ms. Gebhard if I couldn't say that I enjoyed or loved it. I can't say for sure when everything changed and those doubts went away, but I can honestly say that they did. They went away because I realized all the weirdness,  the occasional feeling like I was seeing an old over-dramatized film, the cringeworthy moments, and the pain served a purpose and gave way to something bigger. Elastic Heart might be heartbreaking, sob-worthy, and horrifying, but it's also so beautiful and full of wisdom and depth that it definitely makes it worth reading!

Elastic Heart is a standalone, it's told only from Nami's POV, and Nami and Law are living out their beautiful happily-ever-after!

AP- Excerpt.jpg

I feel something swirl at my ankle, then it grabs me. I’m sucked under instantly as the undercurrent slams me to the ocean bottom and tumbles me around. It’s happened before, so I don’t panic. I know that once it’s done with me, it will let me go. Once it’s twirled me around a few times, it will leave me alone.
I can feel it starting to lose momentum when two arms brace around me and break me free. When we pop through the surface, Torrin spins me around, terror drawing up his expression.
“Are you okay?” He holds me with one hand, inspecting me with the other like he’s going to find an elbow or organ missing.
I’m totally wet. I feel ocean water draining out of my ears and nose. My hair feels like a cyclone just had its way with it, and I know my skin’s red and blotchy from the sand exfoliation treatment I just received free of charge.
I laugh. This is what alive feels like. I remember.
It’s adrenaline pulsing so hard in my veins they feel about to burst. It’s feelings that twist my stomach into knots. It’s feeling so cold my body goes numb and so attracted to someone my body feels the opposite of numb.
This is it. Living. I can almost feel the blood warm in my veins as it starts to run again.
“Why are you laughing?” Torrin’s face flashes with relief when he sees I’m okay, but he doesn’t let go of me.
On the beach, my parents slowly make their way back to the beach blankets once they’ve seen I’m okay.
“That was fun.” I rub my stomach because it hurts. From the laughter. I’d forgotten stomachs could hurt from laughing.
“Fun? Not my idea of fun.”
I wipe the water from my face and find just as much sand pasted to it. “What’s your idea of fun then?”
Torrin’s still shaking his head when he suddenly shouts, “This!”
He pulls me under the water with him. He lets me go right away, but I don’t want him to. I don’t want him to ever let go.
I splash him when he resurfaces a few feet away. “Did you just dunk me?”
He splashes back. “I just did.”
“You’ve heard of payback, right?” I move a little closer, ignoring the way I can feel my parents watching us from the beach.
“I’ve heard of it. Not really a big fan though.”
When I lunge at him and try to knock him under, he’s clearly bracing for it because all I do is smash into him. My wet body against his, our arms tangled together, our faces too close to not be aware of where each other’s mouths are . . .
“What’s this payback thing again?” He’s practically gloating, so I come at it from a different angle.
My eyes drop to his mouth and stay there until his lips part from his breaths coming faster. When my hand curves against the side of his face, sweeping down the line of his jaw, I feel his chest moving hard against mine. His arms tangle tighter behind me because I’m slipping through them. When that doesn’t work, he hoists me higher, and his arms form a net beneath my backside.
I need to clear my head before I can’t remember what I’m doing.
My eyes lift to his and hold there. When he blinks, a drop of water rolls off his eyelashes. My hand slides lower until my thumb is touching the corner of his mouth.
“Torrin?” I whisper, my mouth lowering.
“Yeah?” His voice is rough, coming from low in his throat.
I move my mouth just outside his ear. “This . . . is . . .”—I burst free of his hold and slide his legs out from beneath him with my foot—“payback!”
He goes down with a surprised shout and an explosive splash. I’m laughing again, and so is he when he pops his head above the water.
“Well played, Childs.”
“Thank you very much,” I say with a bow, hoping he can’t see right through me the way I feel he can sometimes.
If he does, he’ll know. He’ll know I would have rather kissed him. I would rather still be kissing him. He’ll know that while I’m content to put most of the past behind me, there’s one part I want to pack and bring with me to the future.
           Him.
I think he might see it though, because I think I might see it in him too.
The sun catches his eyes just right when he looks at me. “You always had a way of taking the ground right out from beneath me.”

Lia's Review

When I first saw the title of this book, I immediately kept scrolling. Given the name, I assumed it was BDSM and that's so not my thing. But I love Nicole Williams' books so I went back for a second look and read the blurb. It was then I knew I absolutely had to have this on my kindle, stat!

I read over 200 books annually, give or take. The one thing that seems to always repeat in my head is, "Please let this one be different." Let's face it, the romance market is flooded with recycled plots and ideas. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Five star reads are becoming harder and harder for me to find. I want to be blown out of the water, I want to be wooed and wowed. That's exactly what I got with Collared.

Don't let that blurb scare you, it's not a real dark romance. It's about struggling to find your place in your life when you thought you lost it. It's unconditional love in its truest, purest form. It will leave you breathless and thinking long after you close the book. One of the best, most original stories I've read in ages. I. Want. More.
