Cops. Forks. Eggs.
Two feuding neighbors who couldn’t be more opposite, forced to live next door to one another.
Neither is backing down.
She drives him crazy with her loud nineties rap music.
He gets under her skin the way he obsesses over his stupid perfect lawn.
She fantasizes about having sex with the hot nerd—but with duct tape over his dumb mouth.
He has dirty dreams of the bombshell beauty where he bangs the crazy right out of her—nightmares of course.
Anger isn’t the only thing heating up between these two.
They think this is a battle only one of them can win…
The growing attraction between them, though, seems to be far more stubborn than the two of them combined.
Sonja's Review
I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was when I heard that J.D. Hollyfield and K. Webster had once again collaborated to bring us another amazing RomCom because I absolutely adored their 2 Lovers series! They’re just as wonderful writing together as they are on their own and I couldn’t wait to read Sundays are for Hangovers. I was so looking forward to this book and let me tell you, they did not disappoint — it was positively amazeballs!
I can’t decide who I loved more, so I’ll just stick with ladies first and talk about Lilith. First of all, she’s just awesome, I loved her the very first time we met her and it only grew the more I read on. Lilith is so fun and disorderly and drives Will crazy at first — it’s so great. I loved being in her head, Lilith is down-to-earth, a bit accident prone which I can totally relate to, and even though she’s passionate and vibrant, she’s a regular person in that she just wants to be happy and do what makes her happy even if what is and does make her happy isn’t what’s expected of her. Lilith has a heart of gold, she’s special and beautiful and I wholeheartedly loved this amazing woman!
And Will, I couldn’t not have loved Will even if I tried. Yeah, he’s particular and obsessive and a little gruff and growly, but I loved all that. Will is just sexy — he’s protective, possessive, sweet, and you might not think it at first, but man, he can be so charming that he’ll make you melt. He’s determined and he would never let anything come between him and Lilith. He fights for her and he never gives up. Will is just wonderful and I completely, utterly, totally fell for him.
I knew that Sundays are for Hangovers was going to be funny, it was a given considering who wrote and that it was a RomCom, but J.D. Hollyfield and K. Webster really outdid themselves with this one. This book seriously almost made me laugh so hard I cried — there was a tear in the corner of my eye — which is practically impossible to do with me. It’s really easy to make me laugh, but to make cry or tear up from laughter is very difficult and this duo managed it.
Oh, it was just so great and hilarious — I loved it. Will and Lilith are like two storms colliding into each other and the passion is just off the charts. It’s light and playful and one of the things that I loved the most about it is how well Lilith and Will communicated when it really mattered, sure they played pranks and games, but when they really needed to listen to each other, they did and that was so refreshing. Sundays are for Hangovers was beautiful and sweet and I wholeheartedly loved it!
Sundays are for Hangovers is a standalone, it’s told from Will and Lilith’s POV, they get their happily-ever-after and I really hope these authors get together again in the future because they make magic when they do!
