RELEASE BLITZ REVIEW: Guarding Temptation by Talia Hibbert

GUARDING TEMPTATION: A DIRTY BRITISH NOVELLA BY TALIA HIBBERT

Protective. Obsessive. And rough around the edges.

James Foster knows the rules: you don’t fall for your best friend’s little sister. Nina is too young, too reckless, and too busy saving the world to be tied down by the commitment he craves.

If he was smart, he’d stop wanting her. But she’s the one thing on earth James just can’t quit.

Fierce. Principled. And impossible to resist.

Political campaigner Nina Chapman is sick of one-time things. She wants forever, and she wants it with her brother’s best friend—but James still sees her as a child to be coddled.

So when a radical article lands Nina in hot water, she quickly finds herself under his protection and under his roof. It’s a shame James doesn’t want her in his bed, too.
…Or does he?

Warning: this red-hot novella contains one radical leftist heroine, one over-protective hero, one annoying childhood nickname, and a shared apartment with only one bed. Also, Brexit. But not too much, I promise.

Please note: a version of Guarding Temptation was previously published as Resisting Desire in the Rogue Nights anthology. This version has been revised and expanded to double its previous length.

Sonja's Review

I recently read Talia Hibbert’s Get a Life, Chloe Brown and I fell in love with it and her writing, so when I saw she had something new coming out, I jumped at the chance to read it! This book grabbed me from the get-go and I was completely invested in Nina and James working through their issues and living out their HEA. Guarding Temptation was so steamy and sweet, it melted my heart and totally made me squee — I just adored it! It was absolutely lovely and I am for sure going to be reading Jasmine and Rahul’s book soon!

RELEASE DAY BLITZ: Stealing Cinderella by A. Zavarelli

Title: Stealing Cinderella
Series: Sinister Fairy Tales Collection
Author: A. Zavarelli
Genre: Dark Fairy Tale Retelling
Release Date: April 2, 2020

Every royal has their dirty little secret. His was… me.

It should have been simple.
Go to the ball, meet the prince, and secure his patronage for my favorite charity.
But beneath the mask, the brooding beast of a man was not at all who I expected.
He was dark and intense and eerily quiet.
When I left, I could still feel the ghost of his touch branded into my skin.
He haunted my dreams, but I never expected to see him again.
Then he came for me.
And he took me.
And I learned that his darkness was a void I never could have conceived.
He’s the crown prince of Norway.
And, now, I’m his captive.

A. Zavarelli is a USA Today and Amazon bestselling author of dark and contemporary romance.

When she’s not putting her characters through hell, she can usually be found watching bizarre and twisted documentaries in the name of research.
She currently lives in the Northwest with her lumberjack and an entire brood of fur babies.

Sonja's Review

I had originally only planned on reading a couple of books in this collection, but after reading and loving K. Webster’s Cold Queen so much abd constantly seeing the awesome covers for the upcoming books, I decided to read them all. While I’ve mostly had a good time with the books, I haven’t really loved them the way I did Cold Queen. I had a feeling that A. Zavarelli’s Stealing Cinderella would change that though because I’ve heard great things about her books and she’s been on my ATR list ever since, so I didn’t think she would disappoint and boy, was I right! Stealing Cinderella was amazing and I loved it so hard! It completely sucked me in, gave me all the feels, and I just never wanted to stop reading. It was everything I wanted and while Cold Queen is still my favorite out of the collection, Stealing Cinderella is definitely my number two and I am for sure going to read A. Zavarelli again and soon!
