Sonja's Review
I won’t lie, before I began Cold Queen, I wasn’t really that excited about it because I wasn’t in the mood to read it at that particular moment, but it was time to get it done and I just told myself to get over my funky book mood. So I started it and oh, boy, did I get invested — like majorly invested, like I was loving every minute, I never wanted it to end, and I didn’t want to pull myself away from it until I finished. Cold Queen was just incredible and I loved it so hard!
I loved the hero and heroine to pieces; Elzira is a complete and utter boss, she’s fierce and a real force to be reckoned with just like Ryke — that man is wicked and dirty and oh so hot, pun accidentally intended, and I was all here for him. I was all here for them both and their story, it’s definitely my favorite K. Webster book so far this year! Cold Queen is one of the best fairytale re-tellings I’ve read and I already want read it again — if you love re-tellings, this is one, without a doubt, that you should pick up!
