Mad Sea
by K. Webster
Publication Date: September 13, 2016
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Paranormal, Romance, Novella
Synopsis:
Until Hali.
Every Sunday, I exchange my mancard for a punch on my pink frozen yogurt card.
Just to see her.
This is what stalkers do, you see.
I’ll do whatever it takes to catch one tiny glimpse of her bright smile—a smile she shines upon me, even if only for a few brief moments—to light up my usually dark, lonely world.
Hello, my name is Madden Finn.
And I’m in love with a girl who doesn’t even know my name.
***Mad Sea was originally created as a story for an anthology. There were size constraints which explains the short length of this story. Because of this, the story is sweet, to the point, and all kinds of instalove. If you’re looking for a quick, lovable read that is quite outside your normal reading zone, then you’re going to love this.***

Sonja's Review
Mad Sea is without a doubt the lightest K. Webster book that I've read and I LOVED it! I had so much fun reading this book, you don't even know. It was also so exciting to me that it was about merpeople too! I've read a lot of paranormal - it's my favorite romance genre - but I've never come across a story where the mermaid was center stage and Ms. Webster did a kicka*s job of introducing the concept to me too. I really hope she writes more about merpeople or any of the other supporting characters in Mad Sea because I will happily read their tales (pun not intended).
I loved Hali - of course, what is there NOT to love about Hali - she's awesome! She's sweet but sassy, playful and teasing, and strong and brave. Hali made me laugh and smile - it was just a real joy to be inside in head and I know you'll love her when you meet her!
And Madden - oh, I'm totally Mad for Madden - so much that I'm going to make it a hashtag: #MadForMadden! I know that he's a biker and looks all rough and tough, but that man is just adorable! Seriously, I was like a puddle at his feet, he had me melting and swooning from the first moment I met him and he just kept me like that the whole way through. Mad is so genuine, pure, and heartfelt about his feelings for Hali and it makes him completely irresistible. Plus the fact that he has that protective/possessiveness going on as well doesn't hurt anything - wink wink! I absolutely, wholeheartedly loved Madden Finn and I hope to see him again someday!
Mad Sea is a short, light, fun read full of sweetness, action, steam, and laughs. It made me laugh and grin and ooooooh and hoot and awwww. It was precious, fantabulous, and utterly heartwarming and I couldn't love it any more if I tried, I just love it so much!
Mad Sea is a standalone, it's told from Madden and Hali's POV, and they get a happily-ever-after ending that left a goofy grin on my face!
