You might look at Gypsy Love's beautiful, sweet cover and think it's going to be a mildly steamy romance, but OMG, that could not be further from the truth because this book is SMOKIN' HOT! Truth be told, although I'm a little ashamed to admit it, I almost didn't take a chance on this book because I thought I would be getting more sweetness than steaminess until I saw a hot teaser for the first book and I immediately signed up to review this book. I can't tell you how glad I am that I saw that teaser because I absolutely LOVED reading this and I can't wait to read the next book!!
Arley Copeland is awesome! She's kind and sweet but also sassy and spirited. She's smart, wise, talented, and beautiful. There's nothing more that Arley believes in than true love and forever, so of course, she ends up falling for the one guy who is allergic to forever and love, but she's determined to bring him around. Arley is just a fun, strong, wonderful heroine and I loved her!
John. Rowan. Is. Soooo. HOT!! He's just "Ungh!" if you know what I mean (wink wink). He had me sighing and laughing and melting and aching. I loved everything about him except for his belief that love and forever were just myths. I absolute loooooved how dominant and commanding he was, but I loved how sweet, patient, understanding, and reassuring he was with Arley the most. It take some time for John to get with the love program and he acts not very smartly, but when he does finally realize that he loves Arley and it is forever, he really goes all out to make up for his temporary bad craziness. John is an equally awesome hero and I loved him even before Arley did!
Gypsy Love is a beautiful, magical tale filled with major steam, wise lessons, fate, faith, love, and forever. It made me laugh and made me want to cry sometimes, but it left me sighing and with a big old smile on my face. It was amazing and I completely loved it!!
Gypsy Love is a standalone, it's told from several points of view and it has a sigh worthy HEA!
