Eva Jones has never felt as if she belonged and now she knows why.. Eva is summoned to a lawyer's office and discovers not only is she adopted, but she's the sole beneficiary of the biological grandfather. She rushes home to tell her fiance, only to find him having sex with another woman. Her life in chaos, Eva boards a plane to the property she inherited in Alaska hoping to learn more about her birth family.
Brantley Smith wants nothing to do with a spoiled, cold-hearted rich girl.
When Eva walks into his tavern, Brantley knows she doesn't belong in Alaska. He doesn't care if she's beautiful, he knows what he found in her grandfather's cabin, and plan's to stay as far away as possible.
Eva is stunned by the frigid beauty of Alaska, but the biggest shock of all is the gorgeous, brooding, sarcastic bartender who seems to hate her on sight.
But despite their initial animosity, their attraction can't be denied. Before long, Brantley would do anything to make Eva feel like she belongs... with him. However, Eva learns what really happened to her birth mother, and she's more torn then ever about her true place in the world.
Eva's abusive, adopted mother has her own agenda.
Pearl Jones has secrets she intends to keep buried, and she arrives to demand that Eva returns to South Carolina. Eva refuses, but Pearl's been lying for a long time and has no problem dealing out a few more to get what she wants, no matter the cost.
Confronted by a dark family history and the potential loss of all she holds dear, an Eva handle the devastating truth?

Sonja's Review:
I wanted to read Love, Untamed as soon as I read a teaser for it and then when I read the synopsis, I wanted to read it even more! It sounded like a love/hate/fighting type relationship and those are my favorite! I went into Love, Untamed pretty much looking at like another book to cross off my list of due books, but from the very beginning, it became so much more for me. I fell in love with it almost instantly, it just kept getting better, and I never wanted to put this book down! It was amazing and I'm still smiling about it even now!
Oh my gosh, I loved Eva! She's feisty and stubborn and clumsy and hilarious! She reminded me of Melissa McCarthy when she first meets Brantley and that made me love her more than I already had. She is an unbelievably awesome heroine - she's so strong and kind and a little heartbreaking sometimes, but she's absolutely real. I couldn't have asked for a better heroine and she's definitely my favorite out of all the ones I've read for awhile.
I normally don't try to put a celebrity, model, or relatively well-known guys' face on the hero mostly because that image of them doesn't stick and it didn't really in this case either, but as soon as Brant is described, I immediately thought of Brock O'Hurn. I love Brock, so I fell in love with the giant Alaskan mountain man hero pretty much instantly! I fell even more when we get to know him better and how could I not? Brant is strong and stubborn, possessive and protective, and so sweet and caring. He's totally everything I love in my alpha heroes!
Love, Untamed made me laugh big and often, it made me sigh in happiness, and it made my heart ache in both the good way and the bad one. It's a beautiful, passionate, steamy love story that I loved wholeheartedly! It's beyond excellent, I just want to read it all over again right now, and I can't wait to read more from Ra'chael Ohara!!
Love, Untamed is a standalone, it's told from Eva's POV, and they get their HEA.
