My life was simple... until Bo Brendon crashed into my lap. Shy girls aren't my thing, yet somehow, she's under my skin and in my head. It's a f*cking nightmare. Yet it's a nightmare I don't want to give up.

Jax Marshall was an accident. A really sexy, smart, incredibly smooth, hot... accident. He's the kind of guy you shouldn't fall in love with, because he could crush you with barely any effort. Especially someone like me. Either it will be the best thing to ever happen to me, or it will be the disaster that leaves me in ruins. I guess I'll find out.

C.M. Owens always loves a good laugh, and lives and breathes the emotions of the characters she becomes attached to. Though she came from a family of musicians, she has zero abilities with instruments; she sounds like a strangled cat when she sings; and her dancing is downright embarrassing. Just ask anyone who knows her. Her creativity rests solely in the written word. Her family is grateful that she gave up her quest to become a famous singer.

Sonja's Review

Identical Disaster is the first book of C.M. Owens that I have read and I can only say, "Why the h*ll haven't I read her sooner?!" It was totally my kind of read and now I can't wait to read the rest of the Sterling Shore series. It was just soooo excellent and I loved, loved, LOVED IT!!!

Jax is one hot, sexy hero! He had a little bit of everything that I love for my heroes to be. He has his possessive, alpha-y moments, his sweet, thoughtful ones, and times where he made me laugh. Granted, it's true that he can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, like a complete jerk where you gasp and are outraged, but some of it was also amusing and charming, so you can't really stay or be mad at him. Jax is a great hero, I totally loved him, and I'm so happy that he and Bo worked out!

Bo is awesome, I love Bo! She's sweet, kind, genuine, and warm-hearted. Bo is the kind of person that will always go the extra mile for you, support you, and would just do anything to help you out. That does backfire on her sometimes, but don't worry, she is a strong heroine and she does learn how to stop it from happening. Bo is wonderful and good and I positively loved her!!

Identical Disaster sucked me in so much that I never wanted to stop reading! It made me laugh my butt off, it shocked me, made me gasp and have a little mini freak out at one point, and it just made me fall in love. It's the perfect combination of heartache and seriousness, heat and passion, and funny and entertaining. It was utterly fantabuluous, I loooved it, and I can't wait to read the next book!

Identical Disaster is a standalone told from Jax and Bo's POV and they do get their happily-ever-after!
