Haley is finally out of Jude's house but that doesn't mean she's free of him. She hopes that he will get over his obsession for her, but she knows that he'll never let her go until he's forced to. She has to decide if running away and living a life constantly looking over her shoulder is the right choice or if she will stay, fight, and beat this guy.
I really liked, admired and respected Haley in the first book and my respect for her grew as I read this. Granted, she doesn't have it together all of the time, but she becomes stronger, determined, and she's a fighter all the way. There were moments when I was frustrated with Haley because she couldn't see some things that I thought were right in front of her face, but it didn't bother me so much that my opinion of her changed or that I stopped liking her.
Dangerous Intentions is a fast, dark, and twisted read. It made my heart pound and my blood pump and it made me gasp and shiver. Ms. Lavelle totally hit another home run with this one and I can't wait to see what happens in Broken Illusions!
Dangerous Intentions is the second volume in this serial and it must be read after Veiled Obsession, it's told from Haley and Jude's POV, and it does sort of end in a cliffhanger, but I don't think it will drive you too crazy.
