I had a case of insta-coverlust with Cee Smith's Shut In and I immediately wanted to read it, even more so after I read the synopsis! I haven't read a storyline like this before and I was very excited to see where Ms. Smith would take us. I wasn't disappointed at all, this was an awesome book and I enjoyed it very much!
I really liked Blaire and Joel's characters - Blaire is a total workaholic and she likes things a certain way - her way - while Joel is a fun, playful guy who knows how to cut loose. But don't worry, Joel definitely gets Blaire to turn her brain off, relax, and live a little. They're just great and I can't wait to see more of them!
Shut In is a short, fast, super HOT read that will leave you wanting more. It's intriguing, sexy, and full of anticipation, fun times, and dirty talk. It was great and I loved it!
Shut In is only told from Blaire's POV and it does end in a cliffhanger that shouldn't drive too crazy, although I know I'm very excited to see what happens in Shut Out!
