I let her rest as I take off my clothes. Once I’ve discarded my shirt and pants, I take the liberty of removing her underwear. What little is left of the stretched out, saturated material. “Don’t get comfortable. We’re not done yet.” I pull her up by the hand.

“I never said anything about being done.” She peers up at me. Round two is right around the corner.

“I missed that mouth.” I run my thumb along her bottom lip.

“What else did you miss?” She flutters her eyelashes.

“Your eyes.” Tara looks up at me surprised. Not the answer she was expecting?

“I missed your laugh,” she tells me timidly. “And the way you used to make me laugh.”

“Can I tell you a secret?” I ask, holding her chin. Tara nods. “I missed that, too. The most. I promise while I’m here, I’ll make you laugh as much as I make you come.”

“That sounds good to me.” I pull her to her feet and kiss her crazily. Running my hands through her hair until it’s a mess and our bodies are as close as they can possibly be.

“Go lean on the windowsill,” I tell her headily. Along the entire length of the windows in the bedroom is a ledge about a foot and a half deep. “Leave the boots on.”

Tara smiles puckishly. “You like?”

I grab the top part of the black boot that reaches halfway up her thigh. “I love. And I’m going to love them even more when I’m fucking you in them.” I tug roughly, kissing her. “Go.”

I just finished Lie With Me and I don't when know what to say - except just WOW! It is the first M. Never book I have read and it caught me completely by surprise and everything about it was unexpected. I feel tongue-tied even trying to think of what to say. Lie With Me is a spectacular book and I know that it will not be a book that I easily forget!

I always saw Tara as strong heroine, but I didn't realize how strong she was until the very end. And while I loved her, I wasn't always thrilled with her. She definitely made some mistakes and while I didn't like them, I didn't judge her and they didn't make her an unworthy heroine in my eyes. Tara is sweet, kind, fierce, passionate, and she has a wonderful heart. I'm so proud of who she is, I admire her, and I truly hope that she never changes unless it's for the better!

And of course, there's no question that I loved CJ! He's exactly my kind of hero with his protective, dominant, possessiveness and the fact that he's sweet, playful, funny, and would absolutely eat chocolate cake for breakfast just makes me love him even more than usual! CJ Carmichael is one hot, amazing guy and I have no doubts that you will lose your heart to him just like I did.

Man, did Lie With Me do a number on my heart! I swear, it is the type of read that will leave you needing chocolate and very likely needing tissues as well. It punched me in the gut, stabbed me in the heart, ripped it out, and then stomped on it for good measure. There are very high highs that will make you feel like you're flying and then low lows that make you feel like you just hit a wall and crashed to the floor. It is a difficult book at times, but completely easy at others.

Lie With Me will make you laugh and smile and it will break your heart, warm it, and fill it up so much that you'll feel like it's going to burst. It will capture you completely, refuse to let you go, and leave you breathless. It is truly amazing and I loved it!

Lie With Me is a standalone, it's told from CJ and Tara's POV, and they do get a happy ending that will leave you happy and satisfied!
