OMG! Rochelle Paige definitely saved the best McMahon brother's book for last. Ahhh, Bear the Burden was just so amazing and I loved, loved, loooooved it!
I was so excited when I found out that Selene was a witch and when I actually met her - I instantly liked her! She's not completely sure about herself or her magic and she doesn't realize how strong she is yet, but I really enjoyed seeing how her bond with Camden helped her realize her strength. Selene is one bada*s witch and I looooved her!
And oh my gosh, but Camden is without a doubt the hottest McMahon brother! I was of course expecting a possessive alpha, but I was pleasantly surprised by just how dominant Camden is. Woo-ee, ladies, trust me you are going to need some new panties after meeting this bear. But that's not even the best part because while Camden will melt your panties, he will melt your heart even more with his sweetness and his unwavering devotion to his mate. He is an awesome hero and I didn't stand a chance against him!
I was so excited to read Bear the Burden after what we learned at the end of Bear It All and it was even better than I thought it would be! It's a fast read, but it's full of heat, action, magic, and epicness. It melted my heart, made me happy, entertained me, and gave the shivers - it was just so awesome. It is by far the best in the McMahon Clan series and while I hope Ms. Paige writes a book about Damien, I also very much hope she will write a book for Carrick too because that man deserves every happiness!
Bear the Burden is the third book in the series and a standalone, but I would recommend reading the series in order because it will be more enjoyable. It is told from Camden and Selene's POV and they get their happily-ever-after!
