Smirking, Sebastian stepped closer, holding out a hand. “Would you care to dance?”
Rolling my eyes, I nodded toward the group of women in the corner who watched his every move. “Why don’t you ask one of your groupies? I’m sure they’d be more than willing.”
He and his brothers, Micah and Zayne, along with Colin, were hot commodities in our pack. They were all royal wolves—the elite. No female could resist them, except me that is. I couldn’t complain though; the royals helped make our pack invincible.
Sebastian leaned closer, his gaze serious. “I asked you, Tyla Rand. Besides, there’s something I need to tell you.”
“Why do we have to dance in order for you to spill? Just say it now.”
Chuckling, he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor. “What’s the matter, afraid to be close to me? I promise I won’t bite.”
Right. Huffing, I reluctantly walked onto the dance floor just when the tempo changed to a slower, sensual beat. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” I growled. Other couples joined in and held each other, swaying to the music, while I stood there like a fool.
Grabbing my other hand, Sebastian pulled my arms around his shoulders and put his around my waist. “See? Not so bad.”
I glared up at him. “Just keep your hands from wandering. Now what do you want to talk about?” His hands snaked lower and I growled. “Keep it up and see where your hands end up next.”
Chuckling, he lifted them higher. “I like watching your cheeks blush. It’s sexy as hell.”

I absolutely looooved Turn of the Moon, so there was no question that I wanted to read Resisting the Moon! I was also especially excited that it was Tyla and Sebastian's book after seeing how they were around each other in the first book. It was totally fantastic and I had such a good time reading their story!
I completely loved Tyla in Turn of the Moon and I thought she was a total bada*s! I really enjoyed being in her head - she's strong and smart and definitely an alpha female. That doesn't mean that she doesn't have her weak moments, insecurities or fears though, she does and I wasn't too happy with her when she resisted Sebastian and blamed herself for things that I didn't think were her fault, but she doesn't do it so constantly that it's annoying and while she doesn't give into Sebastian right away, she doesn't fight him a very long time either. Tyla is just an awesome kicka*s heroine and I wouldn't change a single thing about her!
I'll admit that I thought Sebastian was a bit of a player at first, but it didn't take being in his head for very long to realize that once he met Tyla, she was it for him. It's obvious how much he wants her, needs her, and later loves her that I had no doubts about him and I was totally rooting for him! And how could I not? He's possessive and protective and so sweet and devoted - I just loved Sebastian!
Resisting the Moon is a fast-paced read that will have your eyes flying across the page and then flipping them as fast as you can to find out what's going to happen next. It's full of steam, suspense, mystery, violence, a little heartache, and a few bittersweet, beautiful moments. It was wonderful, I really loved it, and I can't wait to read the next book!
Resisting the Moon is the second book in the Royal Shifters series but it can be read as a standalone, it's told from Sebastian and Tyla's POV, and they do get their HEA ending!
