Lia's Review:

I'll say this first, YA is so not my thing. But when an author you love decides to foray into a new genre, you follow them. I've read Tillie's bada*s bikers, her Alpha fighter, and her drool worthy jocks. I was totally unprepared for her Norwegian bad boy.

While this book is centered around teenagers in high school, it's also an almost poetic love story about a boy and a girl wise beyond her years. I did find some of the dialogue to be a bit mature for the ages of these characters, but it didn't detract from the message Tillie was trying to convey.

You will swoon, you'll be angry, and you'll be shedding massive ugly tears. Chest heaving sobs. It's as beautiful as it is tragic. A boy and a girl and the story of their one thousand kisses. Sigh.
