Title: Ravenous
Author: Marie Force
Series: Quantum, #5
Publisher: HTJB, Inc.
Release Date: August 23, 2016
Synopsis:
A stand-alone Quantum story from New York Times bestselling author M.S. Force!
She wants a baby. He wants her. Simple enough, right?
Ellie Godfrey has kissed her share of frogs. So many, in fact, that she fears she won’t recognize her prince if and when he finally comes along. Tired of waiting for THE ONE, Ellie decides to have a baby on her own before it’s too late.
When Jasper Autry hears about Ellie’s plan, what else can he do but step in and offer to “contribute” to her project. Does that make him an opportunist? Whatever. He wants the perpetually out-of-reach Ellie Godfrey, and when he sees his chance, he takes it. That she’s the sister of his business partner and close friend Flynn gives him pause, but it doesn’t stop him from having what he wants.
As Jasper and Ellie embark upon their secret “project,” he makes it clear that for as long as they’re together, he’s in charge—in the bedroom anyway. After the hottest sex of her life, Ellie realizes she’s made a deal with the devil himself.
Warning: If you hate foul-mouthed heroes who like it a little rough and dirty, this might not be the book for you…Contains hot and sexy BDSM scenes among other things that might not appeal to the faint of heart. Enter at your own risk and enjoy!

Sonja's Review
Ravenous started off a little slow for me, I was liking and enjoying reading it, but it hadn't quite gotten me like the previous books of Ms. Force's that I have read did. I figured that it would be more than just a steamy read, but I didn't know what to expect beyond that. I shouldn't have worried or wondered though because there was much more to it than just sexy times - there was a lot of depth to it too. It was excellent and I truly loved reading Ravenous.
Ellie is exactly my kind of heroine - she's strong, independent, sweet and soft, but also firm and assertive. Ellie is confident and she's doesn't let a man just walk all over her or tell her what to do - well, outside the bedroom anyway, but she loves it, so it works out. Ellie can take of herself, she's fierce and passionate and I loved everything about her. She is seriously awesome and a real gem.
I've haven't been much of a sucker for British men before, but d*mn if they're anything like the last one I read about and Jasper, I need to re-evaluate and look for one myself because Jasper is se-ex-xy! He's polite, cool, calm, and collected but yet dirty, dominant, and the good kind of bad at the same time. Jasper is charming, sweet, noble, and protective. He's the type to always have your back and he would do anything for the people he loves, even if it would hurt him in the process. Jasper is a wonderful hero and he completely stole my heart.
While there were things about Ravenous that didn't surprise me, there were a few things about it that did. I wasn't expecting the kind of seriousness that it had or for it to bring out such strong emotions in me. It made me furious, broke my heart, knocked me in the gut, and made me tear up, but it made me laugh, melted me, thrilled me, and touched me too. It is beautiful, amazing, and moving - I absolutely loved it and I can't wait to see what comes next in the series!
Ravenous is a standalone, it's told from Jasper and Ellie's POV, and they do get their happily-ever-after.
