About SHADE’S LADY:
New York Times bestselling author Joanna Wylde returns to the world of the Reapers Motorcycle Club…
Looking back, none of this would’ve happened if I hadn’t dropped my phone in the toilet. I mean, I could’ve walked away from him if I’d had it with me.
Or maybe not.
Maybe it was all over the first time he saw me, and he would’ve found another way. Probably—if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that Shade always gets what he wants, and apparently he wanted me.
Right from the first.

Excerpt:
"Nope. That’s not how it works,” Shade said, sliding his hand up into my hair. “It was about a member of a support club lying to the national president of the Reapers. He tried to cheat me out of five hundred bucks by promising something he didn’t own. We can’t let guys like Rebel get away with that shit. Wouldn’t matter what it was about, the principle’s the same.”
“There are so many things wrong with that statement that I don’t even know where to start. I...I literally can’t figure out what I want to argue with you about because it’s all wrong. All of it.”
“It’s how our world works,” he said, rubbing up and down my lower back. He might’ve been trying to soothe me but my thoughts were spinning too fast. “There’s good and bad. Part of the good is that when you belong to someone in a club, it’s not just his job to protect you, it’s the whole club’s. I’d die for Dopey’s old lady and I don’t even like the bitch. He’s my brother, though, and she’s his property. It is what it is.”
Sonja's Review
I was so excited to read Shade's Lady from the moment I heard about it! And even though I probably, really should have been reading certain other books, I couldn't wait anymore and I just had to start it. I fell in love with Shade's Lady almost as soon as I started reading it and it was definitely worth being "bad!"
Man, Ms. Wylde has just been killing it with these heroines of hers! I'll read the latest Reapers MC book and be thinking by the end, I have a new favorite heroine and then I read the next one and it happens all over again. How can you blame with a heroine like Mandy though? She's seriously bada*s, fierce, and strong. The last thing she wants is a man even though Shade makes all her hot and bothered. Mandy is determined to earn her way by working hard at her job and not becoming what people thought she would be. Mandy is just - there are no words to describe how awesome she is - she's seriously amazing and I loved her so hard!
I didn't really remember who Shade was at first, but I didn't care because I just love this series and these characters and as long as I get to be in this world and see them again, I'm happy! Although, I will say now I can't imagine how I could forget about Shade, the man is so sexy and has such an intense presence, it's not hard to understand why Mandy couldn't get him out her mind - he certainly won't be leaving mine whenever I visit the series again. Shade lives and breathes power, passion, and fire - he's someone that you don't mess with. Just like Mandy is determined, so is he. He's persistent and he never gives up on making Mandy his and trust me, you're going to be falling for this extreme alpha male - I sure did!
Shade's Lady drew me in from the start and I never wanted to stop reading! It was exciting, entertaining and so sexy. It was full passion and danger and fun and I couldn't get enough. Shade's Lady was an excellent, excellent read and I enjoyed every minute of visiting the Reapers MC world again!
Shade's Lady can be read as a standalone, it's mostly told from Mandy's POV, but we do occasionally hear from Shade, and they do have a happy ending.
