Sonja's Review

I really loved Saved By Her and I was so excited to read Saved By Him. It exceeded all of my expectations and I think I loved it even more than the first book! It was beyond an excellent read and I just can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Adam, Adam, what can I say about Adam? He intrigued probably from the moment we first met him and I was excited to get inside his head. He was a little different than I thought he would be, he seemed to be guarded and I thought that would show and while it did a little, I was pleasantly surprised with how open he was with Sophia. Adam was just great with her, he tried his hardest to be patient with her and kept his anger over what she went through under control and he gave her whatever she needed from him. I really loved that about Adam - he's a great guy!

When I read Saved By Her, I really liked Sophia and I thought that for the most part, accepting that she was free was easy for her, but now that I've read her side of the story, I know that wasn't the case at all. It was hard for her and she just absolutely broke my heart with how she felt about everything, but she's so strong and she never gives up. Sophia keeps moving along and tries to focus on the good things, but she also remembers the bad things too. She was an amazing heroine and she truly touched my heart.

Saved By Her was difficult to read, but Saved By Him was even more so. It struck me in the heart and punched me in the gut. It made feel that burning quiet kind of anger that just makes you want to do violence when it wasn't making my eyes and nose sting with tears. This is one book where you're going feel a wealth of emotions from anger and heartbreak to joy and happiness. It's a beautiful, amazing read and even though there were tough moments to get past, there were plenty of times that made me laugh and smile and moments that just made me plain happy.

Saved By Him is a standalone, but I would recommend reading it after Saved By Her, it's told in Adam and Sophia's POV, and they are definitely living their happily-ever-after!
