I always get a little giddy when Bella Jewel releases a new book. I love this series because it's all about kicka*s females. In Hard to Forget, she's a body guard trying to get the chance to prove herself on a high priority protection detail.
I loved how she was vulnerable but strong and pushed forward even when she made a mistake. Of course her first client would be a tall, dark, and arrogant business man... he doesn't want her on his detail because she is a woman and he is highly attracted to her... but he tells her if she can take him down he will hire her. When she pinned him to the mat I laughed so hard, I loved it.
Close quarters and high stress situations cause that smoldering attraction to combust and boy was it hot! He doesn't expect to fall for her, but when he does he becomes the one that will protect her at any cost.
Yes, they get their HEA but it is a hot as hell ride to get there... I expect nothing less from Bella. I definitely give this book a scorching hot six stars!
