RELEASE REVIEW: Dirty by Kylie Scott

 Title: Dirty by Kylie Scott
Series: Dive Bar, Book #1
Publication Date: April 19, 2016
Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin

Synopsis:
Love—on the rocks….

The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that come with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to scream or cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together.

Just when this runaway bride has nowhere left to turn, a handsome stranger offers her a broad, muscular shoulder to cry on. Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessmen she's normally drawn to. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and is facing his own crossroads. But Lydia's already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong--maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.

After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

Lydia's Review

Dirty is the first book in a spin-off series from the Stage Dive series.

Lydia is engaged to the son of one of the most prominent families in town and when she finds out a few hours before her wedding that her soon to be husband is using her as his beard for his affair with his best man, she flips. And I mean she runs away and hops the fence to the neighboring house, which cracked me up, because it was a six foot fence and Lydia is a curvy girl. Vaughan comes home after a rough day to find Lydia crying in his bathtub. Two strangers and they form this witty and easy bond.

Lydia was wonderful - she was funny and quirky and kicka*s. Vaughan was possesive and protective and his obsession with her breasts had me laughing through the entire book.

I loved all the characters in Dirty and I was especially excited to see Mal from Stage Dive make an appearance, but I am eagerly awaiting to see these Dive Bar characters get their stories! I didn't just love the characters though, I loved the whole book! It had an awesome flow to it, the sex was hot, and there was no trashy drama. I can't wait for the next book.
